The Gemini MPX-40 Professional MP3/CD Player is a dedicated single-disc DJ CD player built around physical CD and MP3 playback with hands-on performance controls. The unit features a slot-loading CD mechanism compatible with standard CDs and MP3 media, along with a touch-sensitive jog wheel for pitch bending, track positioning and fast forward/rewind functions. Its control layout includes dedicated cue buttons, loop controls, pitch adjustment, reverse, sampler functions and track navigation. The MPX-40 supports variable pitch ranges of ±4%, ±8%, ±16% and +100%, along with pitch bend controls. It also provides seamless looping with reloop and B-edit functions, a BPM counter, key lock and 10-second anti-shock protection using RAM buffer memory. For connectivity, the rear panel provides stereo RCA line-level outputs and a coaxial digital output. The unit also has an AC power input and a voltage selector supporting 115V or 230V operation.
