The Advance Acoustic MAP-105 is an audiophile-oriented integrated stereo amplifier from Advance Acoustic's MAP range. It combines a FET-based input/pre-amplifier stage with bipolar power transistors and a dual-toroidal-transformer power supply. Advance Acoustic describes the design as providing Class A operation for the first approximately 15 W, with automatic transition to Class AB at higher output levels. The rear panel provides a straightforward analogue connection layout. Five source inputs are available:
The Phono input supports both MM and MC cartridges, with the selection made using the rear-panel MM/MC switch. A dedicated phono ground terminal is also provided. The amplifier also provides separate Pre Out and Amp In connections. These are linked by factory-style jumpers in the photographed unit and allow the preamplifier and power amplifier sections to be used separately. The front panel is constructed around a brushed-metal silver faceplate with black side sections. A large central volume control dominates the front panel, with standby, CD, Tuner, Aux 1, Aux 2 and Phono controls arranged around it.

Cosmetic Condition
Based on the supplied photographs, the amplifier is in Good cosmetic condition. The brushed silver front panel remains visually presentable, with the Advance Acoustic branding, model marking, central volume control and source buttons intact. However, the photographs show noticeable signs of previous use. Visible wear includes scratches and surface marks on the silver front panel, particularly around the upper and central sections. The black side panels also show scuffs and surface wear. Several rear-panel screws and hardware components show visible oxidation/discoloration consistent with age. The isolation spikes are present and visible beneath the chassis.
