Description
The Luxman C-12 and M-12 are classic vintage hi-fi components from Luxman, a respected Japanese audio manufacturer known for high-quality stereo equipment since the 1970s. The C-12 is a realtime processed DC preamplifier designed for precise, transparent control of audio sources. It was made between the late 1970s and early 1980s as part of Luxman’s Laboratory Standard Series. It features multiple inputs (including two phono stages for turntables), a linear equalizer, subsonic filter, tape monitoring and dubbing facilities, and very low distortion with a wide frequency response from about 1 Hz up to ~200 kHz. Its circuitry keeps left and right channels separate for cleaner stereo imaging, and overall it emphasizes accurate, high-fidelity signal handling for audiophile systems.
